Occonomowoc Bypass STH 16. Waukesha and Jefferson Co., Project ID: 1371-07-77, 1371-06-74
DAAR Engineering provided Construction Management for this $4.3 million bypass. This project consisted of concrete paving, asphalt paving, storm sewer, curb & gutter, and grading. This project was constructed in multiple stages in order to keep traffic moving.

USH 12: Sauk City Middleton Road, STH 78 CTH KP
Dane County, Project ID: 5300-03-77
Project Engineer for the 9.8 million rural expansion of USH 12 from Sauk City to CTH KP. Project consisted of expansion of two lane road to a new four lane roadway on a new alignment; traffic was maintained on existing USH 12. Project involved common and marsh excavation, stream realignment, two prestressed concrete girder bridges, crushed aggregate base course, culvert pipe work, storm sewer, concrete pavement, multiple temporary asphalt crossovers, new signalized intersection, street lighting, traffic control and erosion control. Project also involved new right of way for several acres of farmland requiring direct communication with all involved land owners during each phase of the project.

STH 28/67: Main Street, City of Mayville, Dodge County, Project ID: 3021-04-71/72
Project engineer assigned to a 4.3 million urban reconstruction project on STH 28/67 in Mayville, WI, a historic city bordering the Horicon Marsh. Project consisted of common excavation, storm and sanitary sewer, water main, concrete pavement, asphaltic surface, concrete sidewalk, and select crushed with base course. State enhancement dollars were used for beautification of the downtown blocks. Beautification included antique lighting, custom designed street clock, colored and stamped concrete sidewalk, modular block seat wall planters, benches and pot planters. Project required extensive communication with several affected businesses and homeowners involving direct communication as well as biweekly business meetings to keep all affected parties current with project status. Historic structures contained several underground vaults which required extreme care during construction to prevent damage to existing foundations.

ID: 1200-02-61/1204-04-76 USH 151, STH 23 Dodgeville Bypass, Iowa County
DAAR provided Construction Management Services for the $2.3 million reconstruction of USH 151 and structure overlay of STH 23 overpass. USH 151 reconstruction work consisted of concrete pavement repairs & replacement, concrete surface diamond grinding and hot pour sealing of concrete joints on mainline and ramps, traffic control, asphalt shoulder replacement and beam guard safety enhancements. All work was done with single lane closures as well as 2 day maximum ramp closures. The STH 23 reconstruction work consisted of concrete masonry overlay of STH 23 NB & SB lanes, concrete approach panel replacements, & beam guard safety upgrades.

STH 175, ID: 2012-02-73, Village of Menomonee Falls, Waukesha County
Services included Construction Management for the $1.75 million, urban reconstruction project with storm sewer and water main in the Village of Menomonee Falls. The project involved construction under traffic with multiple staging, while maintaining one lane of traffic in each direction at all times and unrestricted access to businesses during the entire project. The work included building a box culvert carrying a tributary of the Menomonee River, sidewalks, retaining walls, street lighting, and landscaping.
