Marquette Interchange - Core

Daar Engineering, Inc provided construction management services for the reconstruction of the Marquette Interchange. The multi-staged construction project consisted of a complex system of steel tub, pre-stressed concrete and/or steel beam girder bridges structures, grading, storm sewer, concrete pavement, HMA perpetual pavement, sign bridges, lighting, signals, ITS pavement markings.





Urban & Rural Highways

DAAR Engineering provided Construction Management for this $11.5 million urban reconstruction. This project consisted of grading, HMA pavement, storm sewer, concrete curb & gutter, traffic signals, temporary signals, marking, signing, Structures B-40-380, B-40-381, and B-40-404. This project was built under traffic in several stages.

STH 50 (STH 67 - Geneva Street). Walworth Co., ID: 3171-05-71

This 2.0-mile long project includes the expansion of a 2-lane asphalt highway to a 4-lane concrete highway, from the beginning of the project to Geneva National Boulevard, and the resurfacing of the existing highway to Lake Geneva Road. The intersection of STH 50 and STH 67 will be converted from a 4-way stop to a signal controlled intersection with center islands and turn lanes. The pavement design consists of 23.5” backfill granular, 6” base aggregate, and 8.5” concrete pavement and 16” breaker run, 13” base aggregate and 7.5” asphalt pavement. Curb and gutter with storm sewer will be installed throughout the intersection and extending to the end of the concrete pavement.
