At DAAR Engineering, Inc. our Landscape Architecture (LA) team possesses a blend of technical and artistic knowledge to develop innovative site planning and design solutions necessary to meet our clients needs.

As your community tries to develop its sense of place our LA team will help guide you through the process by providing the following services:

Community planning and design

• Community–based design charettes
• Site assessment & concept design
• Full construction documents, specifications and bidding documents
• Permit writing and coordination (Chapter 30, Alternative Analysis, NR 216)
• Construction administration

Funding proposals & administration

• Assistance in grant proposals for government funding programs such as WisDNR funds.
• Working with communities to create WisDOT bike and pedestrians facilities with assistance from programs such as TE, CMAQ and SRTS (available outside the SE Region).  Including processing of a project from design through construction and reimbursement.
• Fundraising campaigns for local and state private foundations (grant narratives, illustrations, exhibits and cost estimates).

DAAR’s landscape architecture team offers a diverse project portfolio and over 15 years of experience in design of bicycle and pedestrian trails, park and recreational facilities, streetscapes, and general landscape architecture services.  The team has designed & overseen construction of community trails, neighborhood and community parks, a multitude of streetscape projects, and has been instrumental in there construction of many community open space amenities.  The team has extensive experience in municipal work and has worked with cities to create project plans which incorporate alternative funding
